Meera’s sister makes headlines for her fake degree scandal

ISLAMABAD – The one out of three officers, pointed out by Pakistan Housing Authority (PHA) for holding fake degrees, is Aqsa Rubab the sister of famous scandalous actress of Pakistan ‘Meera’.

According to the details, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had declared the degrees of three officers as fake and bogus including the the degree of Meera’s sister.

NAB  received an application in which the body was informed about the fake degree of Aqsa Rubab. It was believed that due to his political links with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP)’s leader Jehangir Badar, she was appointed in PHA as Assistant Director Marketing. But her MBA’s degree was fake and locally printed on behalf of a foreign institute.

Later, Aqsa Rubab married one German national and went abroad. But she continued receiving the salary from PHA.

The other officers of PHA holding fake degrees are Deputy Director Information Technology Asad Ali Shah and Superintendent Sohail.

NAB had asked ministry of housing to proceed further with departmental action against the culprits.
