Sri Lankan coach Paul Farbrace to be taken by ECBCOLOMBO – Sri Lankan Board has taken a serious note of news emerges from England that the English team is likely to get services of Paul Farbrace, the man behind consecutive wins of Sri Lankan team.

Terming it a disappointing move, Sri Lanka Cricket has expressed its amaze over appoint Paul as the assistant coach.

Paul was finalized as the coach in Dec 2013 and within a short span, Sri Lanka has been on a winning track. During his coaching era, the team has won Twenty20 World Cup 2014 and 17 matches out of total 18 matches.

The team is also due to visit England for two tests, five ODIs and one T20 match.

According to officials, Paul has signed an agreement till 31, Dec, 2015 and he has to inform the board six months before leaving the post.

Otherwise, he will have pay compensate.
