Microsoft Gives Last Chance to Windows XP Users

microsoft-windows-xp-endWASHINGTON – Microsoft has once again issued a caution to Windows XP users to switch to newer version of Windows before April 8 to keep their software protected.

Microsoft has announced a few days back to rolling back all of its technical support and assistance to Windows XP, which is a worldwide hit of the software giant.

The firm says in one of its note, “Microsoft has provided support for Windows XP for the past 12 years. But now the time has come for us, along with our hardware and software partners, to invest our resources toward supporting more recent technologies so that we can continue to deliver great new experiences.”

After April 8. technical support, including automatic updates for PC protection, for Windows XP will not be available

The good thing is Windows XP will keep working after the deadline; however, the system could be vulnerable for the cyber threats.

According to Microsoft, the only way to keep protected is to switch to newer version of Windows, either Windows 8 or Windows 8.1.
