WEB DESK – The Chief Minister of Sindh and senior leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Syed Qaim Ali Shah, is too busy to sign the important official documents of promoting as many as 50 officers of grade-20, and to kick start computerized registration of 0.5 million weapons.

According to the televised details, the officials of Sindh interior department were now irked due to the unnecessary delay in running official affairs by Qaim Ali Shah.

It was reported that days passed by that interior department alias home department had sent CM a summary to promote 50 officers of grade 20 but he could not sign the papers due to his ‘busy’ schedule.

The sources in interior department also said that weapons’ license in Sindh were expired on February 15, 2014. Government of Sindh was supposed to allow the computerized registration of all weapons. But that important decision could not be made due to Qaim Ali Shah’s ‘busy’ routine.

Chief Minister’s house or any other provincial minister had not made any statement in this regard. When contacted, no response was given by PPP’s leadership as well.

Qaim Ali Shah, a veteran PPP leader, had become the Chief Minister of Sindh for the third time in his political career after 2013 elections. He also remained chief minister in 1988 and 2008. This is his second consecutive tenure in CM House.

A while ago, in the shocking incident of indifference towards his own people, Qaim Ali Shah only granted Rs 1,000 to one physically challenged young man when he begged for support in order to treat his four ailing brothers and a wife.
