Pakistan Army rendered unprecedented sacrifices in war against terrorism: Kayani | PakistanTribeMIRANSHAH – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani said on Friday that the Pakistan Army had rendered unprecedented sacrifices in the war against terrorism.

General Kayani was addressing soldiers after his farewell aerial visit of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).

Earlier, Army Chief Kayani surveyed the 714 KM commercial trade route and praised the Pakistan Army and Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) for completing 500 KM of the project.

General Kayani also directed to complete the remaining project within the appropriate time-frame and maintain the quality of work.

According to a statement released by the military’s ISPR department, Gen. Kayani paid tributes to jawans and Frontier Works Association (FWO) for speedy construction of the corridor passing from South Waziristan.

The army chief also directed the FWO officials to complete the key trade route as soon as possible. Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani has directed to complete trade route between North and South Waziristan agencies on time.

It is also worth mentioning here that General Kayani will retire as army chief on 29th November after completing six years tenure.
