CAA and Wateen to establish free Wifi zones at major airports


KARACHI: Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) would be establishing state of the art free Wifi Hotspot zone in all Arrival/Departure, International/Domestic lounges, Check-in Areas and concourse hall with the collaboration of Wateen Telecom Limited.

These zones would be available at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi, Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore, Benazir Bhutto International Airport Islamabad, Bacha Khan International Airport Peshawar, Quetta Airport, Multan Airport and Faisalabad International Airport.

An agreement was signed between Civial Aviation Authority and Wateen Telecom Limited on Monday 31st March regarding the establishment of these WiFi zones. Passengers would be able to enjoy free WiFi in all these zones.

Speaking to Pakistan Tribe representative CAA spokesperson stated that, under the leadership of Director General Air Marshal (r) Muhammad Yousuf we are committed to provide all facilities up to the international standards. These Wifi zones would be activated on 1st April however, we would soon be establishing similar zones at other airports as well.
