Pervez Musharraf indicted for high treason, says no hope for justice

ISLAMABAD – The High Treason trial had finally turned into a former trial as the Special Court indicted former president Pervez Musharraf on his second appearance, however, Musharraf said he does not expect justice.

Pervez Musharraf said, “He does not expect justice from present rulers.” Musharraf also said that he gave 44 years of his life to Pakistan Army and made defense invincible, adding that he gave repute and progress to this country, does it mean treason ?

Barrister Farogh Naseem is fighting case of former president Pervez Musharraf in Special Court. He has requested Special Court to let Musharraf got to US for treatment.

Barrister Farogh Naseem also submited request in Special Court, seeking permission for Musharraf to visit her ailing Mother abroad.

Musharraf made a dramatic dramatic and unexpected appearance on Monday morning for the second time since the Special Court convened the high treason trial.

Until yesterday, Musharraf’s lawyers have been reporting that his medical guardians would not allow him to travel tocourt due to his ailing health.
