Lahore bound bus fell into ravine on motorway, three dead


WEB DESK – The motorway police has confirmed that a tragic accident near Pind Dadan Khan had cost as many as three lives while ten other passengers received injuries as a bus fell into the ravine.

The authorities confirmed on Friday morning that mishap fell out after a passenger bus fell off the road and into a ravine several meters below near Lillah Toll Plaza in Pind Dadan Khan. The bus was on its way from Rawalpindi to Lahore when the tragedy struck.

Rescue workers have started the operation and shifted dead bodies and injured in hospitals.

According to the preliminary investigations, the motorway police suspects that while speeding along the road, the bus likely careened down the gorge maybe owing to some mechanical failure or human error.
