Amid MH370 fiasco, another Malaysian plane made headlines

WEB DESK – Another Malaysian Airline’s plane – airbus A330-300 Flight 006 – with 271 passengers on board made emergency landing at Hong Kong’s airport after facing electric supply problem.

According to the official statement made public by the airline’s official, the plane was on routine flight from Kuala Lumpur to Incheon (South Korea) when it had to made the emergency landing.

Airline also said that the reason for the diversion of Malaysia airlines flight 066 was ‘an inoperative aircraft generator, which supplies normal electrical power.’

Malaysia Airlines is in the international spotlight following the disappearance more than two weeks ago of one of its passenger jets with 239 people on board. That plane, Flight MH 370, was on its way from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing when it vanished over Southeast Asia.

Since then, major countries of the region including Pakistan, India, Japan, Australia, China and US are analyzing the available air traffic records and satellite data to find out any possible remains of the flight.

However, there were some speculative theories about the missing MH370 circulating in international media. The most famous of all was made by media tycoon Rupert Murdoch in which he alleged that flight landed in North Western region of Pakistan after being stolen (sic). Other such speculations were also about the said flight being hijacked.

Recently, the China and Australia had claimed to locate some floating remains which were believed to be of the missing Malaysian aircraft.
