JSQM protesters mar Urban Sindh with violence

WEB DESK – Urban Sindh marred with violent protests as two leaders of Jiey Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) were killed by burning inside a vehicle discovered this morning.

The violent protesters primarily blocked the Bhiria Road near Noshero Feroz on Friday morning where the bodies of JSQM leaders Maqsood Querashi and Salman Quershi were found.

The national highway remained blocked by the JSQM protesters as they identified the body only by recognizing the registration plate of the car.

The area shops were forced to shut down while protesters took to the streets damaging public and private property including 8 vehicles including three tractor trailers in Noshero Feroz area.

Meanwhile nearly 80 kilometers away In Ratodero, angry protestors set fire to a police mobile and a medical college bus.

Moreover, similar violent scenes were reported from Sukkur, Hyderabad, Karachi and Nawabshah.

Commenting over this incident, chief of Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain had cancelled all party activities for today.

JSQM’s leadership demanded to produce and arrest the killers of their leaders otherwise threatened to give call of strike in whole of Sindh.

JSQM is a Sindh nationalist political party. This group reportedly had a militant wing as well and its initial ideology was of liberating Sindh.
