Attention Lahore: Terrorists can target Minar-e-Pakistan

ISLAMABAD – The intelligence agency (name kept anonymous by the source) has submitted a very important report to the government authorities in which they claimed that terrorist group can target one of the most important national monument Pakistan Minaret alias Minar-e-Pakistan.

According to an intelligence report, Baloch Republican Army (BRA) had planned to target Pakistan Minaret in Lahore somewhere near March 23.

The report had been submitted to federal government authorities. Sources claimed that all concern provincial and federal agencies were alerted regarding any possible act of terrorism. Source also said that concern authorities were asked to arrange foolproof measures for the security of national monument.

Report claimed that Baloch insurgents could target the two venues in Punjab’s capital city. One of those target would be Pakistan Minaret and second a local hotel of least importance.

Last year on June 15, 2013 the insurgents of Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) – another militant outlawed organization – had carried out heinous attack on Jinnah’s residency in Ziarat. Jinnah’s residency was burnt to ashes in hand grenade and rocket attacks. Militants filled the chambers of building with gas and then set it on fire after dishonoring the Jinnah’s personal monuments placed inside the building.

Moreover, the BLA released the video of attack on the even of Pakistan’s independence day later that year to further incite the feelings of Pakistan.
