“One day I was in Gaddafi Stadium and wanted to meet Shahid,” Mohsin Hasan Khan, former Green Shirts coach, told while giving his analysis over the T20 World Cup.
Bob Woolmer had coached Pakistan team for three years before he was found dead in his hotel room during the first world cup T20 in 2007.
“I saw him coming right from the stadium, and I was about to call him when Bob Woolmer intercepted him,” he further revealed.
“I saw that Bob was telling Shahid something, and he was apparently listening carefully while nodding his head. It seemed that something special advice type thing was being delivered.”
“After few minutes, Bob left Shahid,” former coach said and added that I went straight to him and asked
“Was he (Bob) giving any advice to you?”
And Shahid Afridi, who rocks the grounds with his hot hits, reply was just a laughter blaster.
“Actually,” Afridi said, “I didn’t understand at all what Bob was telling me.”
Mohsin Hasan got shocked and asked they why he was nodding.
“Because if I didn’t shake my head, Bob would have continued his lecture for hours.”
Wasn’t it a ‘Laughter Blaster’ or not?
