Two explosions in troubled north of Pakistan killed six


WEB DESK – At least two separate explosions in troubled north region of the country had killed six, including women and children, and injured five people.

North Waziristan Blast

According to the details shared by local media and security officials, six people were killed when a mortar shell exploded in a house in the Shawal district of the North Waziristan region. The dead in the incident included four women, a man and a child.

Explosion in Peshawar

A planted bomb exploded in Peshawar, injuring at least five people near the Sirki Gate area of the northwestern city. Rescue sources said that a woman was also injured in the assault.

According to the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) personnel, at least half a kilogram of explosive material was used in the bomb.
