Two women among six killed in Peshawar violent incidents | PakistanTribePESHAWAR – At least six persons were killed and a bank manger was injured in violent incidents in provincial capital city Peshawar on Thursday. The killed also included two women.

According to the’s correspondent from the area, two women were killed in a firing incident near the Firdaus Market on the Ring Road area of the city on Thursday.

Police said unknown gunmen opened fire and targeted the female pedestrians. The attackers managed to flee from the scene.

The bodies of the deceased have been shifted to the Lady Reading Hospital.

Police have launched an investigation into the attack.

Meanwhile the bodies of two youths were found from gunny sacks in Peshawar, police officials told on Thursday.

According to the sources, dead bodies of two young men were found in gunny bags from Regi area of Peshawar. The victims were subjected to torture before being killed and stuffed in the gunny bags, police told.

The victims belonged to suburban area of Dawoodzai in Peshawar and were identified as Abdul Raheem and Abdul Wahab, aged between 25 and 26.

The police seized the corpses and initiated investigation.

Meanwhile two security guards were killed in the result of the firing of the unknown persons at a bank in Pushtakhara area of Peshawar.

According to sources unknown persons tried to loot the bank but on the resistance of bank guards the decoits opened firing resulting in the death of two security guards.

The killed include one security guard and one police cop. The manager of the bank was also injured in the result of firing. The injured manager of the bank has been admitted in hospital. The attackers after snatching the arms of the security guards fled away from the scene.
