WEB DESK – According to one recent report published by World Health Organization (WHO), Pakistan’s three provincial capitals including Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta stand among the world’s top ten most polluted cities.
According to the report, Quetta, Peshawar and Lahore were ranked 4th, 6th and 10th respectively.
The 1st rank was given to the city of Ahvaz in Iran. City of Ulan Bator in Mongolia was ranked 2nd. Sanandaj, another Iranian city was ranked 3rd. Indian city Ludhiana shared the 4th rank with Pakistan.
Kermanshah in Iran was ranked at 5th. Gaborone in Botswana, Yasuj in Iran and Kanpur in India were ranked 7th, 8th and 9th respectively.
