The Google Nexus 7 is available with LTE connectivity from various carriers, but Verizon Wireless now has a special deal for its version of the tablet. The carrier has slashed the price of the Nexus 7 (2013) to just $49.99 when agreeing to sign a new two-year contract.

By comparison, the Nexus 7 (2013) costs $349 on Google Play. That pricing is for the unlocked, off-contract version, but if you don’t have a lot of cash at hand and don’t mind committing to a carrier agreement, Verizon’s offer may seem more appealing.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE and dual-band Wi-Fi. As previously mentioned, being part of the Nexus family also means that the Nexus 7 (2013) is upgradable to the very latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat right out of the box.

Verizon doesn’t mention whether this is a limited-time offer or not, but interested buyers may want to take advantage of this deal while it lasts. To get the LTE-enabled Google Nexus 7 for $49.99 on a two-year contract with the carrier.
