“The 26 kilometers long project will be named with Yellow Transport Service,” Sindh Transport Minister Mumtaz Jakhrani said.
He was on a visit to Lahore to study the metro project in the Punjab province’s capital city. Lahore Metro Bus Project was completed in a record time, though some critics said that it was with improper plan.
However, Sindh government seems very interesting in bringing that model to Karachi, the economic hub of the country.
“Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has instructed me to visit Lahore and learn the points from the bus project executed under supervision of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif,” Mumtaz said.
He is accompanied with transport officials the province.
The project will need billions of investment for the completion, but will be crucial in streamlining the transport system of the metropolis.
