Pakistan’s great comeback with a target of 261 for Sri Lanka

MIRPUR : Pakistan brilliantly made a comeback after a very bad start scoring 260 runs at the loss of 5 wickets.

Fawad Alam’s magnificient first ODI century pushed up Pakistan to that score.

At Shere Bangla Cricket Stadium Mirpur, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first and lost its first 3 wickets for just 20 runs.

Later Misbah ul Haq and Fawad Alam slowly but surely pushed the score onwards but at the total of 140, Misbah lost his wicket.

After that Fawad Alam and Umer Akmal brilliantly played set partnership of 115 runs.

Pakistan set the target of 261 runs for Sri Lanka.

Lasith Malinga was everywhere in bowling by taking five wickets.
