ISLAMABAD – With the collaboration of influential personalities, Over 7000 businesses are running in residential houses causing great loss to the business set ups established in commercial centers and CDA should take urgent measures to ban these businesses on urgent bases to save the traders from financial loss, PakistanTribe.com reported.
Sources claimed that these residential houses based factories are generating pollution as well as making damages in all the sectors. Electricity is being used by such small factories as a normal consumer instead of commercial. These losses are directly hitting the national exchequer.
On the other hand such home based factories are causing great loss to the business set ups established in commercial centers and CDA should take urgent measures to ban these businesses on urgent bases to save the traders from financial loss.
Sources claimed that influential government are supporting such kind of illegal factories just to get money.
Ajmal Baloch, Central Organising Secretary of Traders Action Committee and President, Traders Welfare Association of Aabpara Market, Islamabad said while talking to on the issue that it’s a illegal activities and government should take action against it.
“Islamabad is high security zone, such kind of activities are also risk for the security”, he said.
He added commercial activities in residential areas are totally illegal, but every fourth house is turning into a business house.
All this is happening in connivance with the officers and officials of Building Control Section of CDA. He said BCS is responsible to control business activities in residential areas but a BCS inspector makes daily visits to show rooms established in houses and receives his share for allowing such activities.
Ajmal Baloch called upon the Chairman CDA Maroof Afzal to himself visit F-6 sector and Nazamuddin Road to see the factual situation as many more show rooms are being established in houses in connivance with the CDA officials.
