Imran Farooq case: suspect lost his record | PakistanTribeISLAMABAD/LONDON – Investigators could not verified the data of a person, Syed Moshin Ali, as suspiciously data has been removed from the record of educational institute. Scotland also claimed that a person named Mohsin Ali Syed is in the custody of Pakistan intelligence agencies.

The investigation agency of UK, Scotland Yard, revealed some important parts of their investigations and believe that the two suspects, involved in Imran Farooq killings are in Pakistani custody even though they have not been formally arrested. They were identified by the names of Mohsin Ali Syed and Muhammad Kashif Khan, who were staying on student visa in England.

The sources in the interior ministry said while talking about the investigation regarding Imran Faroq case that investigators found difficulties and also witnessed some untoward incidents. After investigating the both suspect, when law enforcers started their efforts for verifying the data obtained from the one of the arrested suspect Mohsin Ali Syed, they found difficulties and also got important information.

Mohsin Ali Syed, told the investigators that he got his education from Karachi University and had been an active member of a student organization.

“The suspect told the investigators that his father was policeman and had passed away a long time ago, his mother is a working woman and was employee of Karachi University a few years ago. His mother was deputed as warden of girls hostel on the instruction of an influential personality of the Sind government”, said the sources.

“His residence was in a flat situated in Sumera Pride opposite, Sheikh Zaid Islamic Center. He was also an active member of the student organization in college and a political worker of the said organization in the residential area” sources claimed.

“The suspect took admission in Karachi University in the session 2003 in department of Applied Chemistry on behalf of a student organization. His education record was not so good for Karachi University so he used “cota system” and entered in university because of his mother”, the sources told the paper.

He joined his class with roll number of serial ( H-02010…) After getting admission, he had been an active member of the said student group despite of focusing on his studies. Due to such situation he could not complete his studies” sources added.
The interesting thing is that when the law enforcers tried to verify the information, taken by the suspect, they found that all of his educational record has been removed from the university by the “unknown persons”.

The investigators keenly observed the matter and made searches in different department of the university including Applied Chemistry, Examination, Enrollment Section and others. But they remained fail in verifying his educational details.

The investigators also searched the internal data of the student organization and again faced failure. “The complete data of the suspect has been removed from the university” claimed sources. During these efforts the law enforcers found that one of his brother, Syed Sajid Ali, is still an active member of the said student organization, the sources added.

Pakistan remained the hot issue and been a part of the headlines of the international media, specialy during last decade, not for good reasons but all of the wrong doings. War on terror was the main issue while high profile personalities were also given main place by the media organizations, for their alleged involvement in terrorism, corruption, disobeying the country’s law and other unethical activities .
