The revelation was made by State Minister for Information Technology Balighur Rehman while speakting at the upper house of the parliament of the country.
The policy is aimed at preventing cyber attacks and infiltrations from other countries.
According to experts, presence of militants and extremists on social media, mobile apps usage and internet is alarmingly high and any careless communication with them could be very costly.
The government has already approved E-mail and Internet policy which envisages security guidelines and a multi-stage information security audit of government institutions and ministries” the minister quoted by the state media.

IT ministry has also finalized ‘Prevention and Electronic Crime Bill’ and it will presented before the house soon for the approval.
