Samsung has started the new year with a bang, and with a major part of the year still waiting to unfold the company has already introduced the world to the new Samsung Galaxy S5. And while all that, and more, have been revealed so far, new reports of a Samsung-made wearable glass device has started making waves on the Internet.
The South Korean giant was already rumored for a long time to be working on a Google Glass-styled wearable device that was expected to launch later this year. However, nothing so far has been revealed about the device to date.
However, a new patent filing related to the device has been making rounds on the Web while providing a sort of insight into the type of interface Samsung is planning to bring for the device.
The image in the patent shows a camera-based augmented reality keyboard that will be projected onto the user’s fingers. SamMobile, one of the first sites to notice the new patent, says that different parts of the user’s fingers will be assigned to different keys, with the user also having the ability to use their thumbs as an input device.
