Billions of dollars investment coming for Pakistan travelers

Karachi to Peshawar track upgradationLAHORE – Pakistan Railways is working on a major plan to make 30 engines functional for freight trains meaning addition of hundred of millions addition to the revenue.

Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique informed that at the end of present fiscal year, 30 more freight engines would be available.

“Hundreds of more engines will be running on tracks next year increasing frequency of the tracks,” he said address a labour union meeting.

“The ministry will refurbish the track between Peshawar to Karachi with billions of dollars investment from China.”

The upgrading will allow Railways to run a train after every 10 minutues giving a great boost to train travelling.
