Pakistan plans mega Railway project for passengers and traders

Pakistan china economic corridorLAHORE – Pakistan government is considering a major communication plan for millions of commuters to get further ease in railway traveling.

The plan envisages to lay down new rail tracks across the country in addition to the existing network.

Pakistan Railways officials reveal that Karachi will be connected with Gwadar seaport via 700 miles train track.

The measure will boost the national trade volume besides facilitating passengers from both sides.

Another mega track has been planned between Havelian to Khunjrab and another from Gwadar to Besima to Khuzdar and Jacobabad.

All these tracks will be the part of Pak-Sino Economic Corridor, which was announced in the national budget speech of the finance minister.

However, the project is pipeline to get the approval the elitest forum of the country, National Planning Commission.
