KARACHI – Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Saqib Nisar on Sunday said his Yesterday raid was on the sub-jail not on the hospital, reported.

CJ stated this while responding to the Journalists questions in Karachi.

This time Karachi looks clean, said CJ when responding a different question.

I went to the sub-jail, my raid was not on the hospital, responded Chief Justice when asked political parties criticizing your raid on the hospital.

Yesterday, Chief Justice visited the Ziauddin Hospital in Clifton area of Karachi where former Minister for Information and Peoples Party leader Sharjeel Memon admitted.

CJ during his visit found wine bottles in Sharjeel Memon’s room. He disclosed about the bottles during hearing of different cases in Supreme Court of Pakistan Karachi registry.

Later, Sharjeel Memon was transferred to the Central Jail and a case has been registered against his three servants in the Darakhshan Police Station of Karachi.

Former President and Co-Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party, Asif Ali Zardari during his visit to Karachi Banking Court criticised Chief Justice raid when saying, what a country could do where CJ being busy on raiding hospitals.

Sharjeel Memon, accused of more than Five billion rupee embezzlement in Sindh Information Ministery funds admitted in the hospital for treatment.

Another PPP leader Nasir Hussain Shah claimed that there were Honey and Olive oil in the bottles CJ found from Sharjeel Memon’s room.
