ISLAMABAD – Newly elected Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf government reduced petroleum prices by as much as Rs6 for the month of September, PakistanTribe.com reported.
According to a notification issued by federal government, the price of petrol was reduced by Rs2.41 bringing it down to Rs92.83 per litre.
Meanwhile, High speed diesel price reduced by Rs6.37, now it will be available at Rs106.57 per litre.
The rate of kerosene oil was slashed by 46 paisas, bringing it to Rs83.50 per litre.
Light diesel is the only fuel type which increased by 59 paisas, taking it to Rs75.96 per litre.
After decrease in petroleum prices there were many reports about non-availability of fuel on different petrol pump but govt sources denying it when saying there is no such thing on ground.
