LAHORE – Once again Cricket is knocking on the doors and ready to touch the hearts of Pakistani fans as World XI is all set to visit Pakistan in September for a three-match T20I series.
South African skipper Faf Du Plessis will lead the World XI against Pakistan.

The series will be called Independence Cup and will be played at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore on 12, 13 and 15 September.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the ticket prices for all the enclosures of Gaddafi Stadium Lahore. The tickets will be available at the Gaddafi Stadium, as well as online, but for this each cricket fan have to wait the Eid as tickets will be available after Eid ul Azha.
Independence Cup: Pakistan VS World XI Matches Tickets Price
Ticket prices for the matches will range from Rs. 500 to Rs. 6000.
General stand tickets, including Saeed Anwar and Sarfaraz Nawaz enclosures, will be sold for Rs. 500.
Nazar Muhammad and Inzamam-ul-Haq enclosures’ tickets will be available for Rs 2500.
Tickets for Javed Miandad, Abdul Qadir and Ramiz Raja stands will be up for grabs at Rs 4000.
The most expensive tickets will be for Fazal Mehmood, Imran Khan, Waseem Akram and Waqar Younis enclosures costing Rs. 6000.
The details regarding online purchase of tickets will be posted once the payment details and mediums are finalised by the PCB.
Richie Richardson to referee in Independence Cup
Meanwhile, on Tuesday PCB announced that former West Indies (WI) skipper Sir Richie Richardson will be the referee for the upcoming Independence Cup.
Richardson, who has refereed in 11 Tests, 19 One Day Internationals (ODI) and 18 Twenty20s, has been a member of the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Match Referees since 2016, after ex-Sri Lanka batsman Roshan Mahanama stepped down from his position after 10 years on the job.
