CARDIFF – Pakistan turns the table on hot-favourite England in the first semi-final of the Champions Trophy 2017, win by 8 wickets to reach the final of the tournament.

Earlier, Pakistan restricts England 211/10 in the first semi-final of ICC Champions Trophy 2017 at the Sophia ‘s Garden, Cardiff.

Hasan Ali has bowled brilliantly for his 35/3 in 10 overs. He is now the highest wicket-taker of the tournament with 10 wickets in four matches.

Hasan Ali picked up Bairstow’s wicket in the 16th over. He got Bairstow to lodge the ball towards deep square leg, where Mohammad Hafeez was positioned to take the easy catch.

He was brought back in the attack in 32nd over and he removed in-form Eoin Morgan for 33, and then picked Stokes on 34 in his boundary-less inning.

Pakistani openers took an ever so confidence start of the chase. Their opening pair gave away 118-run stand in pursuit of 212.
