LAHORE– Pakistan Railways has announced a good 33 percent cut in the rail fares for two days on Eid-ul-Fitr 2017.
The decision was made during a meeting chaired by Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique on Friday.
A press release issued by the PR stated that under the package, five special trains will be run from June 23 to 28. In addition to special trains, additional coaches will also be added to existing trains for the convenience of passengers, 92 News reported.
The first special train will leave Karachi for Peshawar on June 23 while the second train will leave Quetta for Rawalpindi next day. The third train will leave Karachi for Lahore and two special trains will be run between Rawalpindi and Multan.
