Fixing volcano sparks up again in Pakistan T20 Tournament

Former Test cricketer Basit Ali, claimed that Sialkot junior coach told him that result of the match was fixed while official refuses said “no such thing was termed.”

Basit himself said that ” The match seemed fixed.”

Former fast bowler Sarfraz Nawaz said “The spin bowling of pacer Rana Naveed, was really surprising.”

Speaking in this regard, Sarfaraz Nawaz favoured Basit’s point and said “top-order lost their wickets easily and spin bowling by pacer Rana Naved was a surprise.”

Rashid Latif also give his statement in this regard said ” Basit Ali, have a keen eye on the cricket.”

“If He is saying that the match was fixed, instead of pressing the matter, should take his matter serious.”

At the request of Sialkot Team, Basit Ali was removed from the commentary.

Players said in this regard that ” Analysts hired by PTV openly criticize the country’s star players in a non-responsible way.”

Stallions refused to land in the field on quarter-final against Islamabad. However, later on the phone of Najam Sethi, they agreed to participate in the match.

They protested in a unique way wearing black armbands when landed for the match.
