RIYADH – An explosion has been reportedly taken place in the Qatif province city of Saudi Arabia dominated by Shias on Thursday which killed two people; emergency vehicles are on the spot.
The attacked area is dominated by the Shia residents, where Shia jihadist groups have carried out deadly attacks in the recent years.
After few minutes the forces of the regime and other emergency vehicles have reached the area.
The local channel said that the victims were fugitive; the channel had earlier said that the blast was caused by a car bomb.
The residents of the area said that they heard a blast and saw rising smoke above the area, the locals called Police immediately
Qatif, dominated by the large majority of Shias is a place of conflict between Sunni Muslims and Shi’ites.
