LONDON – Tech giant google goes gaga over the advent of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017. Google marked the opening of the CT17 with a new doodle that is not only interesting to watch but an addictive game as well.

Featuring crickets versus snail’s game, you can control the batsman once you’ve clicked on the doodle. Hit the bowler into the stands for a lofty six or slap the delivery to the fence for a four.

“To celebrate the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy, we’re inviting everyone to tap/click and take a swing at our pocket-size game,” Google said in a blog post.

Better yet, you can also take a run or two by playing it safe. Remember, it all depends on your timing. Be warned though; once you start playing the game, it’s difficult to stop!

The ICC Champions Trophy 2017 has begun as England take on Bangladesh at The Oval. The tournament, which occurs once every four years, features eight of the best teams in the world who compete for the trophy.

India defends the trophy that it won back in 2013.
