ISLAMABAD – Elder son of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Hussain Nawaz has been once again summoned before a Joint Investigation Team (JIT), his younger brother Hasan Nawaz will also appear probing the money trail of flats owned by the ruling family in UK.
This will be Hussain Nawaz’s third straight appearance before the JIT in less than seven days.
On Sunday, Hussain Nawaz was grilled for three hours by the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) comprising financial experts, investigators and representatives from intelligence agencies.
The Sharif family says that flats were originally purchased by a Qatar-based firm and later transferred to Hussain.
The JIT has been given 60 days by the Supreme Court to decide the matter. If proven guilty, Prime Minister Sharif can be declared ineligible from politics forever
