EDGBASTON – The warm-up game between Pakistan and Australia has been delayed due to non-stop rain at the Edgbaston cricket ground, Birmingham.
The start was scheduled at 14:3o PKT.
The toss, which was scheduled at 14:00, has also been delayed. Players from both sides are sitting on the edge, waiting for the rain to stop and game to start.
No official word on the game has yet come.
Both Australia and Pakistan have won their first practice matches, as Australia chased down 329 runs against Sri Lanka and then Pakistan chased 342 against Bangladesh.
The signs indicate that all the matches of ICC Champions Trophy would be thrilling and high-scoring fixtures.
Pakistan is all set to take on arch-rivals India in their CT17 opener on June 4 at the same ground.
