ISLAMABAD – The son of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Hussain Nawaz has requested the Supreme Court of Pakistan to revise its apprehension about the impartiality of two members of JIT, investigating Panama case.
Husain Nawaz asked the top court through an application, about the certain instance of political inclination of the two members of JIT.
The application read, “The undersign[ed] requests that the facts narrated in the application may kindly be brought to the notice of the bench constituted for the implementation of the verdict [April 20, 2017] passed in Constitution Petition No 29 of 2016 for the gracious consideration and passing of appropriate orders by the bench in terms of the prayer,” as quoted by Tribune.
He showed concerns over the induction of Bilal Rasool, representative of Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, Hussain stated that his family has links with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
Rasool is vocal against the present government; he is pro-PTI even though he is a government servant.
A relative of PM has also submitted an application to the Supreme Court which stated that the members of Investigation misbehaved with him.
