AIOU to organize series of events in Ramadan 2017

ISLAMABAD – One of the biggest virtual universities in Pakistan, Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will hold the series of events during the holy month of Ramadan to highlight the importance of the holy month.

The students and faculty will work side by side with the spirit of Ramadan, said the press release of University on Saturday.

Dr. Shahid Siddiqui said that the educational institutes are responsible for motivating the students and to give them knowledge about their religious rites.

He further said that it is important for the youth to understand the spirit of this holy month and shape their life in accordance with the teachings of Islam.

Vice Chancellor emphasized that the role of these sorts of activities in the educational institutes is very important, it enable our youth to promote themselves as good Muslims before the world.

The Ramadan events will be kick-off on May 25, many prominent religious scholars and faculty members will attend the events.
