BIRMINGHAM – Pakistan team held their second training session at Birmingham’s Edgbaston Cricket Ground on Friday ahead of their clash with Bangladesh in practice before the grand opening of Champions Trophy 2017, which is just ten days from now.

In the first phase of the session, Green Shirts focused on physical fitness and spent more time in the gym ahead of their first encounter with arch-rivals India on June 4.

Pakistan will play their second and third group stage matches against South Africa and Sri Lanka on June 7 and 12, respectively.

The men in brand new training kits are seen in different training sessions.

Earlier, the chief selector of Pakistan cricket team and former Test captain Inzamam-ul-Haq stated very confidently that Pakistan will not only beat India in the competition but will also win the Champions Trophy.

We don’t have a great record against India in major events but every day is a new day and I am sure the players will perform well in the first match,” he said, as quoted by Tribune.
