ISLAMABAD – The Chairman of ICC Anti-Corruption and Security Unit appeared before the Anti-Corruption Tribunal which is currently investigating the PSL spot-fixing probe.
Ronnie Flanagan also met with the Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board Shahriyar Khan and Chairman Executive Committee Najam Sethi on Thursday.
While talking to media after the meeting, ICC official praised the strong stance of PCB against corruption in cricket.
“It is a privilege as Chairman ICC ACU to assist in a small way since it is purely a matter of the PCB management and the Security Department, he said, as quoted by Samaa.
Flanagan said that the investigation of the tribunal is taking place in a very professional way, PCB has shown great strength over the corruption cases, he added.
The PCI officials have thanked Flanagan over his visit, and praising PCB for his work against corruption, the Chairman stated that Pakistan will continue its fight against corruption.
