Snowfall break records in Japan of 2 decades, 3 killed, over 500 injured

Record Snowfall in Japan 2014TOKYO : Japan’s two decades records of heavy snowfall were broken and consequently the 3 people were killed and over 500 injured while hundreds of flights were canceled.

According to foreign news agency in Japan, the most snowfall was recorded in Tokyo.

Japanese media reported due to bad weather over 3,200 traffic accidents throughout the country reported killing three people including 2 women while over 500 injured, giving a look of Pakistan after calamities.

Meanwhile, the national airline of Japan canceled 742 flights due to bad weather while
the bullet train service has been suspended indefinitely which affects millions of citizens depriving them of transportation facility.

More than 40,000 people are still without electricity in central and eastern regions of the country.
