ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met in Beijing in the conference of ONE Belt and One Road (OBOR) Forum on Saturday.
In the meeting, the two leaders discussed the issues related to bilateral ties between Pakistan and Turkey, and the ongoing CPEC projects.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan left for Beijing on Friday along with the four Chief Minister to attend the One Belt and One Road Forum.
Nawaz Sharif said that the relations between Pakistan and Turkey are on the peak in the ongoing days, and the people of both countries stood side by side with each other.
The Forum was opened in China on May 14; it is directed to the foreign policy initiated by President Xi Jin Ping, to discuss the Silk Road Economic Belt.
Recently Nepal is included in the project now India is the only South Asian country which is not included in the project.
