QUEBEC – An overnight dropped on water level make authorities to lift the State of Emergency in central Quebec, the city of Canada.
The public security officials hoped that weather will be weekend and there will be no condition of the flood in the upcoming days in the Mauricie region.
20-millimeter rain is forecasted for Saturday and Monday, the officials are expecting more rains and preparing for the overflow of Lawrence and Lac Saint-Pierre Rivers.
Municipals parties already placed sand bags in the region, Canadian forces also working hard to help the subjects.
“We were seeing further decreases in the water levels in some sectors of the Mauricie this morning, so that’s encouraging,” said Sébastien Doire, head of public security for the region, as quoted by CNBC News.
The flood resulted in the evacuation of several thousand people in the Mauricie area.
