ISLAMABAD – The recently formed Joint Investigation Team has started its investigation on Panama case, the JIT is obliged to complete its investigation within two months.
One the first day JIT briefed its head and members about the topics relating to the matter, the members of JIT showed anger upon a private news channel who tried to get aerial coverage.
They investigated the filming done by the drone camera and after some time it was returned to the journalist.
The Supreme Court of Pakistan had formed a JIT for the further investigation on the Panama case, and ordered to present a comprehensive report within every fifteen days.
JIT includes officials from Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), Military Intelligence (MI), State Bank (SB), Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and National Accountability Bureau (NAB) while director-general level FIA officer will head the team.
It is obliged, to sum up, all the evidence which can be helpful in the case within two months.
