BARBADOS – Pakistan’ misery in the second innings of Test continues as the World No. 1 Test team two months ago, has now collapsed on 81 chasing mere 188 runs against West Indies in the second Test of the three-match series at Barbados, Bridgetown.
Out of five wickets fell so far, 3 of them have been on ducks with skipper Misbah-ul-Haq, Asad Shafique, and Babar Azam.
Whereas, Younis Khan (5) and Azhar Ali could only add 10 runs to the total. Shehzad (14) and Sarfraz Ahmed is not out on 1.
Earlier, Pakistan bundled out West Indies on 268, courtesy to Yasir Shah’s 7-far. He bagged ten wickets in the Test overall, which is his 10th 10-far in Test matches.
At lunch of the Day 5, Pakistan were 35/5. Requiring another 153 runs to win this game with five wickets in hand. West Indies quick Shanon Gabriel has been firing away, with 3 for ten runs.
Nothing changed after the lunch as Ahmed Shehzad (15) and Shadab (1) returned to hut right after t he lunch, leaving Pakistan 36/7.
Mohammad Amir (20) showed some resistance with Sarfraz Ahmed (23) to take Pakistan to 81 runs. West Indies won by 106 runs.
Yasir Shah was the fourth Pakistani batsman to get out on duck in the innings. Shanon Gabriel took five wickets for just 11 runs, his best figures in Test cricket.
