RAWALPINDI – Three terrorists who were found guilty of terrorism in Pakistan were hanged after the death sentence verdict by a military court on Thursday, ISPR said.

The terrorists were hanged in Kohat jail, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) informed media.

The names of these terrorists were Hassan Dar, Umar Zada, Hazrat Ali, and they were accused of killings and terror-related activities across Pakistan. The executed persons belong to Tehrek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) which is a band outfit in the state.

After the establishment of Military Courts through the 21st amendment, the dream of the speedy trial is now a reality.

Military Courts also handle the cases which threatened civil magistrates or have political influence.

Although lots of lawmakers criticize the presence of Military Courts but no one can deny their role in weakling the terror nexus on Civilian Courts.

Recently, an Army court has sentenced Indian spy Kulbhusan a death penalty.
