ISLAMABAD – The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources on Tuesday show confidence in the creation of Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) will be completed till 2020.
The official’s sources informed that the practical part of this project has started.
It is hoped that despite economic cause it will help Pakistan in strengthen ties with neighbours.
In this project a pipeline will be built which will have 56-inch diameter 1,680 km in length, having the capacity to 3.2 cubic feet gas per day.
This gas will initially move from Turkmenistan through Afghanistan and Pakistan through Pak-India border.
The officials further told that due to this project Pakistan and India will get 1.325 billion cubic feet gas per day, the share of Afghanistan will be 0.5 bcfd gas.
