LAHORE – The players who were dismissed due to spot-fixing scandal in Pakistan Supper League (PSL), tried to influence the decision of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) by using political influence.
The relatives of Sharjeel Khan and Shazaib Hassan allegedly tried to do so.
Political influence in cricket has been present from the very dawn of cricket in Pakistan, whether it is a matter of selections or postings.
After the political communications to save the suspended players, it is hoped that Pakistan Cricket Board will take serious action against the offenders.
It should be noticed that Sharjeel Khan and Shahzaib Hasan are suspended for their role in the spot-fixing scandal of Pakistan Supper League.
