ISLAMABAD – The economic giant of the World, China has lifted its investment in The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) to $62 billion from preceding $55 billion.
China in 2015 vows to invest $46 billion in the first part now with the passage of time the number of investment is increasing according to the need. The country will invest $34 billion in the electricity production and distribution.
Recently China is investing in the up gradation of infrastructure projects and industrial zones in Pakistan, the investment of China will be higher than $62 billion if we include private sector investment too.
“This [$62 billion investment] is good news. People will reap dividends of the investment… CPEC will create massive economic momentum in Pakistan,” said Sindh Governor Mohammad Zubair, a member of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s core economic team, as quoted by Daily Pakistan.
International credit rating agency has revealed that these projects will help in boosting the Pakistan’s economy.
