KARACHI: Freshly appointed the president of Karachi Kings Shahid Afridi to use this platform to explore the powerful hitters, new talent, which according to him Pakistan has a deficiency.
Karachi Kings had failed to play further after their defeat by Peshawar Zalmi in the second playoff due to their bad batting performance.
Afridi has signed an agreement with the side and now he is going to launch a talent hunt campaign in all over the country.
“As the president of Karachi Kings I’ll take up the responsibility to find batting talent,” Afridi told media on Thursday, as quoted by ARY Sports.
He will plot a training camp initially in Sindh. Afridi praises Babar Azam (who is a batsman of Karachi Kings) for his performance.
“Babar Azam is one good find as far as the batting department is concerned but one good batsman out of a population as large as Pakistan’s is not enough,” he said, as quoted by ARY Sports.
