GUYANA – West Indies have won the toss and opted to bowl first in the opening game of the three-match ODI series at Providence Stadium, Guyana.

West Indian skipper Jason Holder won the toss and sent Pakistan to bat.

Young leggie Shadab Khan has been given ODI debut.

Carlos Brathwaite isn’t in the squad, he’s been left out to work on his bowling and other aspect of his game, which Stuart Law, the coach, believes he’ll get to do at the IPL. He’ll be playing for Delhi Daredevils. He put down the omission of the other Brathwaite – Kraigg – to a desire to see a more positive approach in the first Powerplay during an ODI.
