The leading tech company Samsung has announced on Monday that it will sell the refurbished versions of Galaxy Note 7 smartphones.
Galaxy Note7 which were pulled back from the markets due to fire-prone batteries.
The South Korean manufacturers recovered some 2.5 million handsets sold throughout
the world. The prime cause behind the flame as told by the company was the faulty Lithium-ion batteries.
The company told in a statement that it is going to introduce the refurbished Note 7s after the discussion with relevant regulatory authorities and carriers.
Samsung’s statement said that the company had scrapped nearly $900 phones just after 2 months of its launch. It was the largest product safety failure in tech history.
The company also plans to sell out the reusable parts of smartphones to recover the expenditure via, Camera modules and extract materials.
